Canyon Creek Pottery in Sisters, Oregon
Canyon Creek Pottery is a working pottery studio and adjoining gallery that features the functional pottery made by Kenneth Merrill. I have been a potter since 1983 were I was first introduced to clay in my high school pottery class in Portland Oregon. In 1990 I moved to Central Oregon where I worked for a local Bend, Oregon pottery. In 1998 I moved to Sisters, Oregon where I have my studio and gallery. I make a wide selection of handmade pottery, each piece is hand thrown on a potter's wheel then fired in a kiln to 2400 degrees where it becomes stoneware. All of my pottery is made of the finest clays available. I specialize in handmade dinnerware sets, lamps, sinks and functional pottery.
The Gallery opened in 2002 and displays the pottery that is made by Kenneth in the studio behind the gallery. We offer a wide selection of handmade pottery from dinnerware, lamps, vases, platters, sinks, wall art, teapots, canisters, pie plates, mugs, bowls, and much more.
